◆ Who is Kush Rana?
Kush is a B. Tech Marine Engineering student at the Indian Maritime University, Kolkata Campus, set to graduate in 2026. With a strong academic foundation and hands-on projects, he has earned recognition for his commitment to maritime technology and sustainability.
◆ His Key Achievements
- Winner of the IMO Mock Research Paper Presentation 2023 for his Ammonia–Stirling hybrid propulsion innovation.
- Champion of Transtech 2023 and two-time winner of Sell It Tempest (2023, 2024).
- Third place in Talk a Tech 2024 and recipient of a Certificate of Excellence by Code Innovation Series on GitHub.

- Senior Content Writer at Merchant Navy Decoded, with 100+ published blogs.
- Industry exposure through internships at BALES Logistics & Shipping and MarineX Research.
